Yes indeed we ship internationally, and quite often to the United States. When you live in the US and you order through our website, your order will be processed free of VAT. However, US customs will charge VAT and duty for clearing your parcel as soon as it is imported into the United States. Please note you will receive an invoice from DHL Express requesting you to pay the amount to process your parcel. For faster delivery we advise you to complete the payment as soon as possible, so customs can clear your parcel and send it on its way.

It is understandable that you have questions about how safely your parcel with this beautiful, handcrafted piece of jewelry will be shipped. At DiamondsByMe, we do everything we can to ensure that the shipping of your handmade jewelry runs smoothly from the time of the purchase to its delivery.
Jewelry at DiamondsByMe is sent discreetly by registered mail and is insured. This is also applies to the free delivery services offered with our jewelry. Discreet shipping means that there is no logo or reference to DiamondsByMe on the shipping box. The only thing that will be on the shipping label is: DBM BV. Not citing a company name is not possible, as it is mandatory to provide a return address for each shipment. Our experts work discreetly on every piece of jewelry and its appropriate packaging. So you can be sure that your gift will also truly remain a gift.

Shipping Methods DiamondsByMe works with several efficient carriers such as PostNL, DHL Express and DPD to deliver the parcel as safely as possible. Each carrier requires a signature when the parcel is delivered. This way the parcel will not be left at the wrong address.

DHL Express
The DHL Express shipping method is carried out by the international parcel service DHL and is available for an additional charge of €10. The estimated delivery time for DHL Express is the fastest but varies by region (see table below). When shipping with DHL Express, On Demand Delivery (ODD) gives recipients greater flexibility in delivery options.
We recommend DHL Express for rush orders due to shorter delivery times.
Are you not at home when your parcel is being delivered?
Then check the new delivery options for your parcel in the DHL Express app, and select the option that suits you best. These options can be picking up your parcel at a DHL Express service point, delivery at your neighbors, front desk or security or another delivery time. If you do not choose a new delivery option, then the parcel will once more be offered at your home address on another date. If at the second attempt, the parcel can not be delivered, then DHL Express will contact you to discuss the possibilities of delivering your parcel.
DPD
The DPD Home shipping method is carried out by the DPDgroup, originally Deutscher Paket Dienst (German Parcel Service), for private individuals at home. The shipping method is free for countries within Europe, but differs in the estimated delivery time.
Are you not at home when your parcel is being delivered?
Then DPD will attempt to deliver your parcel on another date. If there is no one present to receive the parcel on the second attempt, then you can pick up your parcel within a week, at the DPD location where your parcel has been delivered. You will receive a notification in your mailbox informing you where your parcel is located. If your parcel is not picked up in time, then it will be returned to the sender.

** For shipping jewellery to Switzerland, DHL Express charges a surcharge when handing over the parcel. These are 19 CHF handling fee, 50 CHF precious metal surcharge and 3 CHF payment fee. So a total of CHF 72 per order. In addition, Swiss VAT must be paid.
Local Customs Duties for Shipments Outside the EU except UK
Each piece of jewelry that you can order from our website will be shipped using the shipping method you selected during the checkout process. If the delivery address is in a non-EU country, your jewelry is exclusive of any value added tax. You pay all local taxes and/or import taxes before receiving your parcel.
The United Kingdom is one of our largest markets. For that reason, we ship our products DDP to the United Kingdom, which means that tax and duties are included in the shown price.
