The ring shown above is called the Chantal 1. We call this type of ring a cluster ring. The center gemstone is surrounded by smaller sized stones. This 14 Carat gold version is set with a 0.096 crt round black diamond center stone, embraced by smaller diamonds. What makes this traditional gold cluster ring special is the setting of the smaller gems surrounding the center black diamond, which are shaped like a beautiful flower. The surrounding cluster of stones frame the middle center stone in such a way to make it appear bigger. This type of promise ring is also called a flower ring. It is very important that the smaller diamonds are positioned identically so there is no interference of light but perfect unity instead. Our skilled Goldsmiths get the job done. Each individual stone is carefully set by hand. During manufacturing, light fall is constantly monitored to make sure the special cluster effect is still visible.
